Community Engagement

Community engagement is broad citizen engagement to share, document, and define community priorities, goals, and action steps on an issue, project or policy.  At its best, community engagement is inclusive, genuine, collaborative, creative, and fun.

Community engagement is always recommended and at times part of funding requirements.  For EPA Brownfields Grants, it is required before applying for a Cleanup Grant as well as throughout a Cleanup or Assessment Grant.

Mid-Atlantic TAB is here to answer questions and can help facilitate meetings.
