The EPA releases threshold criteria that are used to evaluate grant applications. Threshold criteria are pass/fail, and are based on a variety of requested information. This information is used solely for the threshold criteria evaluation. There are different criteria for each grant, and the information requested varies depending on the type of application submitted. Threshold criteria only assess eligibility. Once you pass all threshold criteria, your application is reviewed further.
Mid-Atlantic TAB has created infographics to help applicants better understand the complex threshold criteria documents. EPA's documents should be reviewed thoroughly before submission, as they contain much more detailed instructions for applicants.
