Maryland’s Inaugural Statewide Brownfield Conference

The inaugural Maryland statewide brownfield conference will provide a forum for local governments, consultants, attorneys, developers, and non-governmental organizations to learn and share information about brownfields and to promote increased awareness about the processes and technologies that move brownfields toward beneficial reuse in Maryland’s communities.

The two-half-days conference on November 16 and 17 will be organized with more foundational/basic information presented on the first day and more technical presentations the second day. Anticipated presentation topics include: solar facility generation on brownfields; review of federal and state technical and financial assistance options; drycleaner cleanup challenges; and local government brownfield case studies.
