Lori grew up in a traditional fishing town along the coast in central New Jersey, which inspired her passion for environmental science and policy. After receiving her B.S. in Environmental Studies at Cook College, Rutgers University, she worked for several years in D.C. on Capital Hill and the World Resources Institute before heading to Delaware for her Master's in Marine Policy. Since then, Lori has had amazing experiences with the Chesapeake Bay Program, the National Aquarium in Baltimore and the Delaware Nature Society. Prior to her current position, she was the Brownfield Coordinator at the Delaware Department of Natural Resources. Working now at the University of Delaware, Lori feels like she has come full circle and returned home!
